The leaves of the Makrut Lime (formerly known as Kaffir Lime) are extremely aromatic and are distinctive with their double leaf shape. They are a common ingredient in Southeast Asian cuisine, especially soups & curries. Simply add a couple of leaves to your Jasmine rice for a wonderfully scented treat. Can be stored in a zip lock bag in the fridge or freezer.
